DAVID FOO

David Foo is the Principal Counsellor of CHANGE Community Services. He holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University, Australia. He is certified in a number of programs such as HBDI (Herrmann Whole brain), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), DISC (Dominant Influencing Stable Compliant)

David has worked with a wide range of clients with diverse issues such as stress, anger management, various types of anxiety disorders, depression, self-harm, marriage, parenting, family and relational issues. He primarily uses CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) to treat his clients’ diverse issues.

David is also a well sought-after speaker on various topics relating to the human brain, mind and mental wellness – both locally and overseas.

David uses a collaborative approach to help his clients face their challenges and develop a sense of empowerment so they can lead purposeful and meaning lives.


QIU TING

Qiu Ting holds a graduate degree in Master of Counselling from Monash University. She specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in her work. Taking an integrative approach in therapy, Qiu Ting uses humanistic and solution-oriented therapies tailored to suit each individual. Her practice includes a thorough diagnostic assessment, through social history interviews, observational techniques and psychological assessment tools, to determine the source of her client’s struggles and the best course for treatment. She also teaches clients coping techniques, relaxation techniques, social skills and emotional coping skills.

Qiu Ting has clinical experience working with young adults, families with young children and teenagers, as well as the elderly, providing treatment for:

Relationship problems, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, professional problems, family issues, anger issues, self-esteem, academic stresses, parental coaching, smoking cessation counselling, domestic abuse (emotional/physical), and palliative care counselling.

In her free time, Qiu Ting enjoys a good read, spending time with her family as well as trekking all over the world.
